What Pure collects

Pure collects the information needed to run a friends-only ephemeral moments app: Sign in with Apple account identifiers, first name, last name, profile photo, short moments, audio recorded with those moments, friendship records, meeting location when a nearby friendship is created, moment view records needed for the "moments seen by me" count, reports, and basic operational logs.

How Pure uses data

Pure uses this data to authenticate accounts, create nearby friendships, show active friend moments in the feed, process reports, let people forget friends, operate infrastructure, and respond to support or safety requests.

Ephemeral moments

Moment media is designed to be forgotten after one day. Report metadata may remain after media is forgotten so Pure can investigate abuse and maintain safety records.

Service providers

Pure uses infrastructure providers such as Render for backend hosting, managed Postgres for database storage, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, Vercel for this website, and Apple for Sign in with Apple.
